Radiology department of UNIMEDTH/SHAkure is a major contributor of the quality services to the teaching Hospital and patient care in terms of investigation/diagnostic radiological procedures of routine radiography, ultrasonography and specialized procedures of the various units of the hospital ranging from urological, Gastro intestinal, paediatrics and orthopedics,obstetrics and gynecological endocrinological and other specialities including vascular radiological intervention proceedings for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes

Our services is being upgraded presently by the management to include other specialized and patient centered quality care for re-accredication by the colleges (NPMCN And WACS)

The Radiology department has been involved in the training of interns from various departments from several Nigerian Universities since 2018 to date.
The operational units in the radiology department include Radiography,Radiographic Technicians,Health information management, Administrative Health units.

The Radiology department vision is to provide qualitative care to all patients visiting the department.
